Re-envisioning
Kirkham Heights

Inclusivity

The Kirkham Project will provide a mix of housing options to address the housing needs of current and new residents who want to make a home in the Inner Sunset. As proposed, the redeveloped project will include the on-site replacement of the existing 86 rent controlled units, and will comply with the San Francisco Rent Control Ordinance and the Inclusionary Affordable Housing Program, resulting in 13.5% of the net new units rented below market rate. In response to feedback from the City, the project has been redesigned to include one 4-story and seven 3-story townhomes at the entrance of the project, providing a more graceful transition from the single-family homes on Fifth Avenue. The project will help the City meet its housing goals by making available a range of options for an inclusive community.
